Can Assist Spring Dinner in the Southern Highlands

WHAT’S ON // A spring dinner, Italian style, with a whole lot of heart behind it.

Can Assist Southern Highlands is hosting a gorgeous community dinner at Italo at The Mill in Bowral on Friday 11 September, bringing together locals for good food, live entertainment and a very meaningful cause.

Can Assist is one of those incredible organisations doing quiet, practical and deeply important work in the Highlands, helping ease the burden for Southern Highland families dealing with cancer.

This dinner is a lovely chance to support that work while also enjoying a pretty delicious night out.

The evening includes a three-course Italian-inspired dinner, starting with house-baked focaccia, followed by your choice of John Dory with lemon caper butter or veal saltimbocca, then tiramisu to finish. Delish.

There’ll also be a drink on arrival, live entertainment from local artist Art Kaiser, a talk from Alexander Tyson about local performance group The Fifth Act, and a raffle with some fab (and we mean fab!!) prizes up for grabs.

A Callala Beach escape, handcrafted jewellery, a pure wool blanket, wines and spirits, and an Italo Bowral voucher? That raffle is not mucking around.
