ABOUT
The Highlands Classic and Enthusiasts Motorcycle Club, based in the Southern Highlands of NSW, is home to the self-professed ‘Hard Men & Women’ of the Highlands: A group of laid back and generally mild-mannered motorcycle enthusiasts who’ve banded together to ride, discuss, tell lies about and generally appreciate motorcycles.
We offer a range of opportunities for both modern and classic bikes, with several modern bike rides a month, both on weekends and during the week, plus more sedate runs for older bikes on the last Friday, second Saturday and last Sunday of the month. Longer multi-day rides are also offered a couple of times a year for the truly hard.
As if that isn't enough, we also offer access to registration under the Historic Vehicle Scheme, whereby standard or near-standard motorcycles over 30 years old can be registered for club events and limited private use for a nominal annual fee. Membership is open to all and we have members ranging in age from their 20s to 80s; men and women from all walks of life, with interests ranging from vintage bikes through to modern road burners. All bike types are welcome, be they Japanese, Euro or even American. Hell, we even let in people who ride Laverdas! All we ask is you leave any attitudes behind as we are definitely not a club for one-percenters.
Club meetings are held at Moss Vale Services Club on the second Monday of the month at 7:00 pm and generally consist of half an hour of club business followed by the opportunity to mix with like-minded enthusiasts in a relaxed and convivial atmosphere.
If this sounds like your type of club then feel free to drop into a meeting and meet us, you’ll be glad you did.
