Farm Club where the club will shout a coffee and a pie to all attendees.

Rob McKellars recommendation. 830am at the clock for 9am departure. Organise your own
accommodation at the Globe. Dave Hendo, Colin Sims, Davo, Camo & Rob Hannah have
booked. There are still 3 twin rooms left.
End of year. This is where I get to make a little speech. So this being the AGM, its bringing
another year to a close. Now, despite the drama we had with the insurance last year, you
know I’m pretty happy with how the year panned out. There are a few notable
achievements of which I’m proud of.
The inaugural Christmas in July & April, which was terrific last year and should be
even better this year.
First aid course we had last winter which, you know, maybe not so good was put to
good practice when Superman did his impersonation.
The memorial ride and barbeque was terrific which ended up out at the Avon & Nepean dams.
Christmas in July in December that we had here at the club. Little bit different this
year that we had a sit down lunch and I thought that was really good too.
The disposition of the club vests was sorted. So if they found a permanent home &
they are happy for it.
Finally put to rest the issue with the public liability insurance. Its’s a problem that has
raised it’s head every couple of years and hopefully has been done & dusted and
doesn’t come up again.
I really want to thank the committee members. We put the hard yards in this year.
I’m the one that sits here & flaps my gums & they do all the work (untrue). First of
all, Rob Hanna, hardest working member of the committee. You don’t see him
doing much at meetings but more so in the background single handedly he keeps the
membership system operating. If it weren’t for Rob, the whole place would fall
apart. Thank you very much Rob.
I was going to thank Paul Roodenrhys Vice President Extraordinaire, all round good
guy & one of natures gentlemen for his maturity & reasonableness & support
through the year. I wont thank him though, because he is not here.
Thanks to Rob McKellar, our Secretary, who is unfortunately for me, maybe not so
much for him is leaving the country . Terrific bloke, done an extraordinary job & I am
going to miss you Rob.
A big thank you to our ordinary committee members. Colin who despite being a
disruptive element in our meetings is a constant source of good cheer & organises a
very good barbeque.
Thanks to Mal Campbell who is not here either, so maybe we wont thank him, but
he’s always good fun in the committee meetings & doesn’t he do an incredible
barbeque snag?
Andrew Buckley, he’s been a little quiet this year. He’s had his health challenges, but
we love seeing him at the committee meetings & another all round good guy.
Thank you to the members that organise rides. Stand outs are John Diaz does dirt
bike rides, Mick Lendrum for the Imperial Tour & other casual rides. Paul Riley for
organising the track day at One raceway. Mick Simpson for organising regular trips
away and everyone else who organises rides.
And there’s this other person that I would like to mention but he is not here either
but there is a reason for that. But you know if he reads the minutes that he sees that
we think of him. That is Greg Reeve. Greg is a long time member who moved away to
Corindi for reasons known to himself. He liaises with Rob Hannah to keep everything
going to do with computers. Even though he’s not here in person, you know he is
here in spirit. And of course, I want to thank everybody, all the normal members,
everyone who turns up to meetings, goes on club rides, makes a contribution to the
community of the club. So thank you all.

Secretary’s report: Rob McKellar
I would like to say thank you for taking the time to read my minutes that I put many hours of
thought and detail into it. Again, I am leaving the club which is unsettling and disappointing
as I have to follow my wife to fulfill her needs. I have met some really great people within
the club. I will miss the whole family feel of the club. The whole atmosphere of the club is so
welcoming where I hope the club will remain in the same direction into the future.
Especially if we keep the current president and vice president. Thank you and If I am back in
town I will be sure to catching up with everyone.
Membership Secretary Report: Rob Hanna.
First off just to reiterate what Michael said about Greg Reeves, way up there. He may not be
known to a lot of you but there’s an incredible amount of work he has put into the
membership system. He still keeps an eye on it every so often. Every now and again I get a
message from Greg saying “Have you checked this?”or “These people haven’t renewed their
membership yet, are you chasing them up?”. Greg stays involved and he is a valuable
member of the club even though many of you don’t know him of see him regulary.
Membership stands at 169.
Currently there are 30 members who are not paid up. As per the constitution if you are not
financial with your membership and you are riding around on a classic bike on club
registration, the RMS/ Police deem you unregistered and uninsured.
I have in the past telephoned and emailed to make members aware their membership has
expired and I don’t get a response. There is only so much I can do.
It is the responsibility of members to maintain their membership and club registration.
