Meeting Opened at 7pm by Vice President Michael Callaghan.
Michael addressed the assembled members regarding the sudden death of our friend, riding companion and club president Rod Barrett. Michael explained the circumstances of Rod’s passing and a meeting held shortly after by the club committee at which the committee unanimously agreed that Michael should assume the role of president, Paul Roodenrys would assume the role of vice president as well as secretary and Colin Sims would fill in as secretary when needed. This arrangement was unanimously approved by the assembled members.
Michael also suggested a short meeting be held and then the club would buy a round of drinks in Rod’s memory.
