Richard is planning to change the working account to a savings account that will pay interest which will equate to a couple of memberships in value added to the account each year. Currently there is no interest earned. The rescue account enough interest to almost pay for one and a bit memberships.

Secretary’s report:

Nothing to report to at this stage. First meeting.

Webmaster report:

Richard has added an online membership application form. No need to print off form now though original print version is still available. New online form once filled out will be emailed to membership secretary automatically. New member still need to be considered. Format is still being adjusted.

Web site menus at the top of the page have been altered to make them bigger & clearer. A new section has been added called ‘Bikes’. Profiles are being set up for historic bikes. Richard will progressively add new bikes. Currently there is BMW R90s, Triumph Bonneville, 750 Suzuki, Honda CB750 and Norton Commando. Others to follow. Richard would like all to visit the web site and comment of the bikes if you know anything about them eg, technical. Adding this bike section may help increasing web traffic to the web site.

Currently site visits are increasing.

Membership Secretary Report

Rob Hanna: currently around 145 paid up members, 20 members have been archived as non-financial.  If you have not paid you are no longer a paid-up member.  It is important for non-paid members to understand that club rego is invalid if you aren’t a paid up member. If you have let your membership lapse longer than 3 months you will need to renew your application (with the additional $20 admin fee). The archiving is required to help Peter White, Trevor or Mal determine if they can register the members bike/s.
