Motorcycling Tip #3

When you pull up at a set of lights (or anywhere else), always place

your left foot slightly forward of your hip (as opposed to right next to you). This will give you far

greater stability and prevent you feeling like you are falling over when a breeze blows or anything rocks the bike whilst stationery! Only has to be one footprint forward of right beside you. Try it!

Of course, this assumes you are placing only your left foot down. If you are putting both feet on the ground, you are at risk of fall at some stage as the only brake you have is the front, and at anything below around 20km/h if you grab at the front, you'll fall down. But that's another tip for another day.
